Terms and Conditions of Sale
New Client Accounts: Life’s Tile & Stone is a direct importer and business-to-business wholesale supplier; we are not a retail location. New clients must provide all required account information before placing their first order. Please see the New Account Form in the Documents section of our website. Your sales representative and our office staff are available to assist you.
Ordering and Fulfillment: All orders must be submitted in writing by text message or email. Verbal orders will not be accepted. Life’s Tile & Stone is not responsible for the accuracy or suitability of measurements, quantities, or sizes ordered or supplied by the customer. Orders must be placed at least 24–48 hours before the requested pickup or delivery. As a wholesale supplier, we cannot accommodate same-day ordering and pickup or delivery. We will make every effort to accommodate your requested estimated time of arrival (ETA).
Payment Terms: All orders must be paid in full before pickup or delivery, and all payments must clear before pickup or shipping. Accepted payment methods are business check, ACH, wire transfer, and credit card. Credit card payments are not accepted from first-time buyers. All credit card payments are subject to a 3% processing fee, with no exceptions.
Sales Tax and Exemptions: New Jersey resellers and clients or projects exempt from New Jersey sales tax must provide both a completed ST-3 form and a copy of their Certificate of Authority (Reseller Certificate). Once both documents are received, they will be kept on file, and the client becomes responsible for collecting applicable sales tax. A blank ST-3 form is available from our accounting department upon request. Life’s Tile & Stone is not registered to collect sales tax in states other than New Jersey. Buyers are responsible for paying any applicable sales tax in their respective states.
Prices, Quotes, and Delivery: Prices are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to honor quotes; however, quotes are valid for two weeks and must be reconfirmed before an order is placed. All sales agreements and orders are subject to strikes, accidents, carrier delays, quarry conditions, and other circumstances beyond the control of Life’s Tile & Stone. Life’s Tile & Stone will not be held responsible for such events. All prices are FOB our warehouse in Lodi, New Jersey, and exclude delivery. Delivery charges are quoted separately for each order.

Custom Orders, Backorders, and DepositsLife’s Tile & Stone offers a variety of custom-produced items. All custom orders and backorders require a 50% non-refundable deposit before the order is considered placed. A 50% deposit is also required to hold any in-stock item. Lead times for custom orders and backorders vary and are subject to change due to factors beyond our control. Any lead times provided are estimates only. Once a custom order or backorder arrives at our warehouse, payment in full is due within two weeks unless other arrangements have been made. Custom orders are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.
