Terms and Conditions of Sale

Quotations

Prices quoted are subject to change at any time and are exclusive of taxes, license fees, customs fees, duties, and other charges. Quoted prices are for products only and do not include delivery, installation, or expedited freight.

Orders

All orders must be placed in writing by fax or email. Orders must be paid in full within 15 days from the date of pickup or delivery. New clients in New Jersey who wish to be exempt from sales tax must provide Life's Tile & Stone with a completed ST-3 form. Once the ST-3 form is submitted and kept on file, the client is responsible for collecting applicable sales tax. The form may be obtained from our accounting department if needed. Orders must be placed at least 24 hours before client pickup. Life's Tile & Stone is not responsible for measurements supplied by the customer. Once an order is placed, it is considered final. A $100 handling fee will apply to changes made after an order has been prepared. Orders will not be shipped to accounts that are past due. Overdue invoices are subject to a late payment charge of 1.5% per month. Purchase orders must specify the shipment method: delivery, pickup, or third-party shipping.

Prices

Prices are subject to change without notice. All sales agreements and orders are contingent upon and subject to strikes, accidents, carrier delays, quarry conditions, and other causes beyond the control of Life's Tile & Stone. Life's Tile & Stone will not be held responsible for such events. All prices are FOB our Lodi, New Jersey warehouse and do not include delivery.

Order Quantities

Interior products may be purchased by the square foot or by the piece, except French Pattern Sets, which are sold in 8 sq. ft. bundles and cannot be broken. Pavers must be purchased by the crate or pallet; partial crates will not be sold. Pool copings and treads may be purchased by the piece, and veneers may be purchased by the square foot. Life's Tile & Stone has no minimum order requirements beyond these parameters; however, we strongly recommend pickup for smaller quantities to reduce shipping costs.

Custom Orders and Deposits

All custom orders require a 50% non-refundable down payment before backordering. A 50% deposit is required to hold any in-stock item. Paid orders must be picked up from our warehouse within two weeks. After that period, a $25 monthly storage charge will apply. Custom orders are not eligible for refunds or exchanges. Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances.
